Sophia Webster's Heartbreak Hotel AW14

Sophia Webster is my favourite shoe designer in the world, hands down. So, when the London Fashion Week schedule was passed around in our weekly Fashion North conference, I volunteered much like Katniss Everdeen to cover the show.

The presentation came around last Sunday and I was more than impressed at the "Heartbreak Hotel" theme, the girly pastel colours, the doll-like set and of course - the amazing Sophia Webster shoes and accessories.

This is the write-up I did for Fashion North on the presentation:

The "Happily Ever After is so Once Upon a Time" collection for Autumn Winter '14

Fashionista’s were invited to check into the Heartbreak Hotel on Sunday as Sophia Webster’s new fall collection was presented.

Talking about her new collection, Sophia Webster described it as “Beverly Hills brats are getting a London fairytale treatment for AW14″ – and we couldn’t agree more.
The Heartbreak Hotel was filled with a mix of vibrant and pastel, super-girly décor. The walls were decorated with Sophia Webster’s iconic houndstooth print and quote signs reading: “Forget Prince Charming… Just glad I got my shoe back! – CINDERF*?!INGRELLA”

Each model played host in their own “doll-set” room in the Heartbreak Hotel, with one model laid in a huge bathtub with her Sophia Webster shoes hanging over the edge. Another model seen in a neon pink corridor carrying a hefty amount of “Sophia” branded shopping bags – it was all very Clueless inspired.

The Beverly Hills brats theme was clear throughout the presentation, as one model was seen stood in a huge walk-in wardrobe style set, filled with an impressive collection of Sophia Webster shoes and clutch bags – we have serious wardrobe-envy!

Top of our wishlist is the “CINDERF*?!INGRELLA” clutch and quite frankly, ANY pair of the shoes – oh, and the chihuahua in the pink gilet being held by the Heartbreak Hotel receptionist.

Sophia Webster, you never fail to amaze us.

What did you think to the presentation? I loved it, but maybe I'm bias.
