Topshop Lips: Inhibition

If you're anything like me, you've probably been scouring the shops for weeks upon weeks, with a hand full of swatches, to find the perfect winter lip shade. My search began back in September for a new plum shade for the A/W months and eventually, I stumbled upon this beauty in my local Topshop.

The shade is called "Inhibition" and was £8 (£7.20 with student discount). After searching for the perfect lipstick, I found that most purples I swatched were completely different to the colour they looked in the tube. The lipsticks would either be too sheer, too pink or too brown.

So, as you can imagine, it was a huge relief finding that this Topshop lipstick was the purple shade I had been searching for and an added bonus? It's super pigmented.

I do really love the colour of this lipstick, however, the wearability still does not compare to my favourite MAC shade, Russian Red.

Despite Inhibition being a very pigmented shade, I do find myself having to re-apply the lipstick regularly as a slight knock to the lips can smudge it quite easily. Due to this, I've been considering investing in MAC's Rebel for the winter too.

What do you think of the Topshop lipsticks?

    1. I've had a couple and they're really good! I'm not sure if it's true but I heard somewhere that they're made by the same suppliers as MAC? Don't quote me though! xx
