An early Christmas gift: The Glamour Beauty Box

Now, I know what you're all thinking: "Isn't it a bit early to be opening Christmas gifts?" - but I have a (moderately) valid reason for doing so. Firstly, my boyfriend Aaron bought me this for Christmas but unfortunately we won't be spending Christmas together this year because we live at opposite ends of the country and only live together at uni. My second reason being I just REALLY couldn't wait until Christmas to use the HD Brows kit...

I saw the Glamour box advertised in the most recent issue of Glamour (yes, the one with Katy Perry on the front) and knew I wanted it. Glamour Mag teamed up with those at Latest in Beauty to produce this box full of fabulous goodies to take you right through the Winter season. The box is sold for £14.95 (not including P&P) and contains goodies inside worth £65. Bargain.

The box contains:

HD Brows Eye & Brow Palette
This is my favourite! I've been wanting my own HD Brow Kit for quite some time now but could never bring myself to justify the £20 price tag. I haven't tried it yet, but I will be using all 4 colours for both my brows and eyes tonight and will review it as soon as I can.

Maybelline Baby Lips
I'm sure you've all probably heard of these so far as they've been doing the rounds in the Bloggersphere. I got the blue hydrate balm in my box and it smells yummy.

Eyeko Lash Curlers
I was quite excited to see this in the box, mainly due to the fact that Alexa Chung has recently collaborated with Eyeko. I've never tried any of their products before, so these curlers are a good way to start. The best part about them? They have blue velvet handles!

Benefit They're Real Mascara
My current mascara is on its last legs and I needed a new one desperately - that's when They're Real walked into my life. The brush has so many bristles that it is literally impossible for my eyelashes to look bad. Plus, with the help of my Eyeko lash curler, my eyes are going to be super "fluttery".

Toni & Guy Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray
Now I'm going to be honest, I've never really been a "hairspray snob" so brand names have never really mattered to me - however, this hairspray is so light and manages to keep the hair in place without any stickiness or dullness. Winner.

Philip Kingsley One More Day
First of all, I should probably apologise to Philip Kingsley for not knowing he is. Secondly, this dry shampoo is amazing and is an absolute saviour on bad hair days.

Balance Me Extra Care Radiance Face Oil
Last but not least, this lovely little "face hydrator in a stick". I can already see that this is going to be a godsend for my skin.

So, what do you think?
I love it! I'm over the moon with the products and super grateful my boyfriend bought it for me!
