The city that never sleeps.

"One belongs to New York instantly, one belongs to it as much in five minutes as in five years." Tom Wolfe

I'm back! After spending one long but lovely week in the Big Apple (and a cheeky extra week in London with the family and my boyfriend) - I AM HOME. And already, I am as eager as a beaver to jump back on a British Airways 747 back to the sunny states.

I'm not going to yap on too much about it as I have a few blog posts in the pipeline and as they say: a picture says a thousand words, so here's my "postcards from New York" from me, to you.

Dad really was that amazed..

New York Public Library

Views from the Empire State ahead..

I thought it looked cool, okay?

 The flat iron building
 Lady Liberty herself..

The most terrifying clown ever.
 Walking across Brooklyn Bridge

 Dad.. being Dad
Rockefeller Center views were much better. Recommend!

Central Park

I hope you enjoyed the post, despite there being a lot of pictures!

Keep an eye out, as I'll be doing more NYC posts on where I ate, shopped and the trips we went on (I purposely left pictures of the 9/11 memorial tour out of this post)

  1. Shannonnnnnn these look amazing :) My fave one however, is the one of your dad stood next to the big gay ice cream sign teehee. Glad you had an amazing time. Now stop posting photos, you are making us all jealous :p x

    1. Haha thanks Aileen! He pulls the look off well, I must say. There's more blog posts to come, you might have to be jealous a wee bit longer eek! xx
