Things that make me feel good.

Okay, as it's the lead up to Sunderland Live's Feel Good Festival, I figured it'd be a good idea to write different posts on the lead-up to the festival about what makes me feel good. So, in turn may make you feel good too if you give it a go.

This week, it's just going to have to be about fruit smoothies - a bit weird, I know. Being a self-admitted smoothie addict, my boyfriend bought me a smoothie maker last week and ever since it's arrived we've been making all sorts of fruity concoctions. I really can't explain why, I'm not sure if it's because I feel healthier drinking smoothies or whether it's because they're just so damn delicious.

Anyway, I did a little photoshoot on my smoothie maker and the process:

1. Get whatever fruit you want in your smoothie

2. Buy some fruit juice to mix with the fruit (you can use milk alternatively but it gives more of a milkshake taste, rather than a fruity one)

3. Chop up all your fruit and place in the blending cup

4. Pour your juice in with your fruit. Fill approximately half way.

 Here's one I made earlier...

5. Blend blend blend.

6. Pop a fresh strawberry on for photo purposes and fill your belly with a yummy smoothie, worth 3 of your 5 a day - depending on the fruit in it, of course.
