Sunderland Feel Good Festival

Okay, so if you're a North East blogger, you may or may not have heard of a new company called Sunderland Live - the company has been formed recently (April 2013 to be exact) and has been described as a "spin-out of Sunderland council". The main aim of Sunderland Live is to get Sunderland "on the map" basically. They aim to get Sunderland known internationally as a leading destination for events, such as the Sunderland International Airshow (which I found brings over 1 million people into Sunderland each year, craaaaazy.)

Sunderland Live has many events in store for this year including things such as the Feel Good Festival. Seriously, save the date - it sounds amazing. The festival has been formed to celebrate the Sunderland City 10K race and Marathon of the North.

Saturday the 27th will see health, fitness and beauty events in 3 different popular venues, these being:
  • The Bridges Shopping Centre - hosting health and fitness activities
  • The Minster - come along and try a bit of laughter yoga or baby massage for you parents out there!
  • Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens - beauty themed stalls and events
This is definitely an event to pop in your diaries - apparently there will be lots of surprises in store on the day too. Hopefully the Feel Good event will get the people of the North 'feeling good' about themselves and have smiles all round!

P.S. I don't know about you but I am definitely all over the laughter yoga!

Feel free to follow Sunderland Live to keep updated on all the exciting events coming up:

Let me know if you'll be going to any of the events!
