Shoe collection

Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes can change your life, but why do I find myself drawn to the highest heels on the market?!

Ever since the age of around 5, I've been a "shoe queen" as my Mum would say, I remember my first pair of 'Spice girl' shoes which I wore day in, day out.
Looking back, they were probably the ugliest shoes known to man, (think creepers, but even more hideous) with a big rubber platform giving my teeny 5 year old legs a few inches. Though, nowadays its not as if I need any inches at all, standing at 5ft9 - though I cannot stop myself buying heels!

Within the last three months, I've bought (except the Sam Edelman shoes, that were bought as a gift for Xmas) all these beauties:
1. Next Runway Platforms   2. Sam Edelman 'Lorissa' shoes  3. Next Runway nude platforms  4. Topshop Allegra booties and finally, 5. My infamous Jeffrey Campbell look-a-likes from Missguided!

I am in love with all of these shoes, but unfortunately a problem always arises - common to all girls who have worn heels. The inevitable pain at the end of the night from wearing the 6 inch beauties. I seriously need to get some practice in walking in my heels, my Lorissa shoes I can't even wear for half an hour without feeling the burn.

So, if anybody out there has any tips on how to make heels more comfortable - if humanly possible - then please let me know. Thanks for reading!

Big love!

PS. I fear I may be moving onto another obsession, which is the Handbag obsession. Check out this little vintage bag I picked up in a charity shop! I love it!

  1. Aw I used to love the Spice Girls (maybe obsessed is the word) and had a pair of white platforms which I thought were the bee's knees. Cringe!
